Getting Started with MonkX — LinkedIn AI Agent
MonkX is your dedicated LinkedIn ghostwriter. It learns your voice, writes posts, generates images, and publishes or schedules content — all from a single chat screen.
The MonkX interface at a glance
Navigate to /linkedin_agent (or click Open agent on your LinkedIn Agent card in the Dashboard). The screen is split into two main areas:
- Left sidebar (Chat History) — your conversations, a search bar, the blue + NEW CHAT button, your Token Usage meter, and the Settings menu at the bottom.
- Main area — a tab switcher at the top toggles between Chat and Calendar. The chat workspace shows prompt cards when empty and a fixed input bar at the bottom with attach, voice, and send controls.
Launch the MonkX Agent
👉 From your Dashboard, find the LinkedIn Strategist card under "Your Agents" and click "Open agent". Alternatively, click My Agents in the top nav and press Launch on the LinkedIn Agent card.
Open Settings → Edit Basic Info and fill your persona
👉 Click "Settings" at the bottom of the sidebar, then "Edit Basic Info". The modal shows your Saved Learning Data — everything MonkX already learned about you — then the form: (1) Identity — First Name, Last Name, Professional Headline, LinkedIn URL. (2) Background — Professional Summary. (3) Voice & Style — Writing Tone, Target Audience, Sample Content (paste 3–5 of your best posts). Click Save Changes at the bottom.
Start your first chat
👉 Back in the chat you will see prompt cards — "Build a content calendar", "Post something now", "Write like someone else", "React to industry news". Click a card, type your own message, or press the mic and speak.
