First Steps — Using the Website from Scratch
The correct path from the pickMyAIAgent home page to your first LinkedIn post — every step below is a real screen, in order.
Open pickmyaiagent.com
👉 Go to pickmyaiagent.com. The home page shows what the platform does — AI agents for lead capture, follow-ups, and LinkedIn content. Click TRY NOW to pick an agent, or Sign in if you already have an account.
Create your account
👉 Enter your email and a password (at least 8 characters) and click Create account. No email verification needed — you are signed in immediately on a free trial.
Read your Dashboard
👉 You land on the Dashboard. Check the stat cards (Active agents, Total agents, Agent types), then find your LinkedIn Strategist card under Your Agents and click Open agent. Top nav: Overview · My Agents · Billing · Settings.
Set your persona once
👉 Inside the agent, open Settings (bottom-left of the sidebar) → Edit Basic Info. Fill in your Identity, Professional Summary, Tone, Target Audience, and paste 3–5 sample posts. Click Save Changes — MonkX now writes like you.
Send your first prompt
👉 In the Chat tab, type a simple instruction — "write a post about my week" — or click a prompt card, or press the mic and speak. Answer MonkX if it asks a follow-up; a Draft Ready card appears when your post is written.
Publish or schedule
👉 Click View Draft to open Review & Publish: Edit post to change text inline, Upload Image to add a visual, then Publish now (with a LinkedIn account connected) or Schedule post to pick a date and time.
